How to Find Flow and Purpose in Your Life & Work
Tuesdays are the hardest day of the week. Mondays you are still coasting off the weekend, feeling refreshed and ready to get back to work—but Tuesdays… 4 more days until Saturday, a mountain of work ahead of you, etc, etc. blah blah blah.
Let us reframe.
Jung said to "The most important question anyone can ask is: What myth am I living?"

Carl Jung
When you understand what you are trying to accomplish with your time, what you are pursuing when you believe you were put on earth to do, and have a clear pathway in your mind of how you are going to get there… THAT is the moment when you find your flow state, don’t mind being disciplined, and feel energized by the uphill journey that is your life.
Recently, I spent some time studying Fridtjof Nansen who was an explorer, scientist, and diplomat. He was one of the most daring and inspiring people I have ever come across. This is because he didn’t seem limited in any way. He followed his interests, stacked his skills and connections, and relentlessly moved towards his goals.
This is how you MUST be.
“This is the most effective way: to let the youthful soul look back on life with the question, ‘What have you up to now truly loved, what has drawn your soul upward, mastered it and blessed it too?’ Set up these things that you have honored before yourself, and, maybe, they will show you, in their being and their order, a law which is the fundamental law of your own self. Compare these objects, consider how one completes and broadens and transcends and explains another, how they form a ladder on which you have all the time been climbing to yourself: for your true being lies not deeply hidden within you, but an infinite height above you, or at least above that which you commonly take to be yourself.”
This passage, from Friedrich Nietzsche, argues that the most effective way to understand one's true self is not through introspection alone, but by reflecting on what one has genuinely loved. By arranging these cherished things and observing how they complete and expand upon one another, a person can see a "ladder" of self-development that reveals their fundamental law or "true being". This process is one of active creation, where one's identity is not a hidden object to be found, but an infinite height to be climbed towards.

These are all components of a great life.
What fills my soul with light is feeling that I am on the right path.
It takes years, of searching and experimenting to find this right path. You almost need to open your arms to god, fate, muses, SOMETHING, and look for guidance. You fall into the work and find peace in it.
My dear,
Find what you love and let it kill you
Let it drain from you your all.
Let it cling onto your back and weigh you down into eventual nothingness.
Let it kill you, and let it devour your remains.
For all things will kill you
both slowly and fastly.
but it’s much better to be killed by a lover.
Poem by Charles Bukowski

Charles Bukowski
This lover is what we all should be searching for, and once we find it, do as Bukowski advised. Let it kill you.
Thanks for reading everyone. Hope you enjoyed this piece, and I hope you have a wonderful Tuesday. Go out into the world and crush to your absolute highest degree!
I’ll see you next week.
